With this book, I had to take the original book, and create a digital layout for printing. Then I needed to create a basic cover design which would be printed 4-color process on glossy cover stock. I took the photograph used on the cover, and added the simple type.

I was tasked with creating a cover design that could be used for Darkly Dreaming Dexter, Dearly Devoted Dexter, Dexter in the Dark & Dexter by Design. The solution I came up with was a this cover, with a different colored background for each different book. This allows the consumer to not only have a "set" that works together, but also allows them to recognize our edition when looking to continue the series.

Annual Dinner Dance Journal
Project Information:
Congregation Tifereth Israel holds an annual Dinner Dance, and this journal is part of that tradition. I was asked to layout the journal, scan and layout the ads, and create the cover. The journal includes 1 page printed on gold stock, 2 pages printed on silver stock, as well as a 1 page insert for ads that were submitted after the deadline for the printer. The cover is 1-color on white coverstock, and the interior is black ink on a natural colored stock

When Danny approached me Project Information designing the album art for his debut record, he was really pressed for time. Unhappy with everything that had been done by other artists he approached me with a concept that I thought was great, but had been used by another artist. I suggested that I take a stab at digitally illustrating a similar idea, which would keep with his vision, but give it his own twist. This is the final product of that idea.

For this project I was given a damaged original copy of the book, and asked to use elements from that to create dust jacket for an updated edition of the book. I took part of the original front cover, and updated the typography for the new edition. Then I created the back cover as well as inside flaps. These were then printed 4-color process on glossy stock.
